Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click "Get Started" and sign in with your Google or Microsoft account. No password needed — we use secure OAuth authentication. After signing in, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding to set up your organization.
What is an organization?
An organization is your workspace in skdl.me. It groups your team members, booking pages, and subscription under one roof. Every user belongs to at least one organization, and you can switch between multiple organizations if needed.
How do I connect my calendar?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Calendars and click "Connect Calendar." You can link Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook accounts. Once connected, select which sub-calendars to check for availability. You can connect multiple accounts.
Can I connect multiple calendar accounts?
Yes. You can connect multiple Google and Outlook accounts — for example, a work Google Calendar and a personal Outlook calendar. Each account can have individual sub-calendars enabled or disabled for availability checking.
Booking Pages
How do I create a booking page?
Go to Dashboard → Calendars and click "New Calendar." You'll need at least one connected calendar with sub-calendars selected. Set a name, duration, URL slug, and configure your availability rules.
What settings can I customize on a booking page?
You can customize the event title, description, meeting duration (5–480 minutes), buffer time between meetings (0–60 minutes), minimum booking notice (0–7 days), timezone, URL slug, and add custom form fields for attendees to fill out.
What are custom form fields?
Beyond the default Name, Email, and Notes fields, you can add custom fields to your booking form. Supported types include text, textarea, checkbox, and dropdown. Each field can be marked as required or optional.
How does my booking page URL work?
Each booking page gets a unique URL like skdl.me/book/your-slug. The slug is auto-generated from the name but you can customize it. Slugs must be globally unique and are checked in real-time as you type.
Can I deactivate a booking page without deleting it?
Yes. Each booking page has an active/inactive toggle. Deactivating it prevents new bookings while preserving all settings and existing bookings. You can reactivate it at any time.
Availability & Scheduling
How do I set my availability?
When creating or editing a booking page, configure availability rules for each day of the week. Set start and end times, and you can add multiple time blocks per day. Changes apply immediately to all future bookings.
How does availability checking work?
When someone visits your booking page, the system reads your availability rules, fetches busy periods from all connected calendars, subtracts existing bookings, and respects buffer times and minimum notice. Only genuinely free slots are shown.
Can I override my availability for specific dates?
Yes. You can create date-specific overrides to mark yourself as unavailable or to set custom hours for a particular day. This is useful for holidays, special events, or one-off schedule changes.
What is buffer time?
Buffer time adds padding between meetings so you're never booked back-to-back. For example, with a 15-minute buffer, if a meeting ends at 2:00 PM the next available slot starts at 2:15 PM. You can set it from 0 to 60 minutes.
What is minimum booking notice?
Minimum booking notice prevents last-minute bookings. For example, with 24 hours notice, no one can book a slot less than 24 hours from now. You can set it from 0 to 7 days.
How far in advance can people book?
Attendees can browse and book slots up to 2 months ahead from the current date.
What happens if I connect a calendar that belongs to someone else?
You can connect any calendar you have access to via Google or Microsoft SSO. However, if the actual owner of that calendar email registers on SKDL.ME, the calendar will be automatically disconnected from your account and you will be notified via email. To keep using that calendar, you can invite the owner to join your team with a Team subscription, or connect a different calendar that you own.
Bookings & Meetings
Where can I see my bookings?
Go to Dashboard → Bookings. You can view bookings in a list or calendar view. Use filters to search by guest name or email, filter by status, calendar, team member, or date range.
What happens when someone books a meeting?
A calendar event is automatically created in your connected calendar (Google Calendar or Outlook) with a video meeting link (Google Meet or Microsoft Teams). The attendee, all assigned team members, and the organization owner are added as attendees. A confirmation email is sent to the guest.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. Organization owners and admins can cancel any booking from Dashboard → Bookings. The attendee will be notified of the cancellation.
Can guests cancel or reschedule?
Yes. Guests receive cancel and reschedule links in their confirmation email. They can cancel at any time, or request to reschedule to a new time slot.
Are video meeting links created automatically?
Yes. When your calendar is connected via Google, a Google Meet link is automatically generated. With Outlook, a Microsoft Teams link is created. The meeting URL is included in the booking confirmation.
Team & Organization
How do I invite team members?
Go to Dashboard → Team and click "Invite Member." You can enter an email and choose a role (admin or member), or generate a shareable invite link. The invitee receives an email with a link to join your organization.
What are the different team roles?
There are three roles: Owner (full access including billing, ownership transfer, and org deletion), Admin (can manage members, calendars, invites, and view billing), and Member (can view bookings and their own calendar data).
Can I transfer organization ownership?
Yes. The current owner can transfer ownership to any other member from the Team page. Once transferred, you'll become an admin. Only one user can be the owner at a time.
Can I assign team members to specific booking pages?
Yes. When editing a booking page, you can assign team members. Their calendars will be checked for availability and they'll be added as attendees when someone books a meeting.
Can I be part of multiple organizations?
Yes. You can belong to several organizations and switch between them. Each organization has its own team, booking pages, and subscription.
How do I remove a team member?
Owners and admins can remove members from the Team page. The owner cannot be removed — ownership must be transferred first. Non-owner members can also voluntarily leave an organization.
Billing & Subscription
What plans are available?
We offer a Free plan (1 user, unlimited calendars and bookings) and a Team plan with per-seat pricing: €1.70/seat/month or €12/seat/year. The Team plan includes unlimited team members, custom branding, custom booking forms, and priority support.
How does per-seat billing work?
You pay for each seat (team member slot) in your organization. When you add or remove seats, the cost is prorated — you only pay for what you use for the remainder of the billing period.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. You can switch billing intervals at any time from Dashboard → Subscription → Plan. The change takes effect immediately with prorated adjustments.
How do I add more seats?
Go to Dashboard → Subscription → Plan and adjust your seat count. You'll see a proration preview before confirming. New seats are available immediately for inviting additional team members.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel from Dashboard → Subscription → Plan. Your Team features remain active until the end of the current billing period. You can reactivate before the period ends if you change your mind.
Where can I find my invoices?
Go to Dashboard → Subscription → Invoices to see all past invoices. You can download each invoice as a PDF. Invoices are generated automatically by our payment system.
How do I update my billing information?
Go to Dashboard → Subscription → Billing. You can enter your details as a private individual or a business, including tax codes, VAT number, and invoicing fields (SDI, PEC) for Italian e-invoicing.
Do you support discount codes?
Yes. If you have a discount code, you can apply it during checkout. Some codes apply to the first payment only, others to all renewals.
Notifications & Emails
What email notifications are sent?
Guests receive a booking confirmation with meeting details and cancel/reschedule links. They also receive reminder emails at 24 hours, 1 hour, and 30 minutes before the meeting. Cancellation and reschedule notifications are also sent automatically.
Can I customize email notifications?
Yes. You can customize the subject line and message content for each email type (confirmation, cancellation, reschedule, and reminders) from your settings. You can also enable or disable individual email types.
Account & Privacy
How do I edit my profile?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Profile. You can update your display name. Your email and profile image are managed by your Google or Microsoft account.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account → Delete Account. You'll need to type "DELETE" to confirm. This permanently removes your account, all owned organizations, and associated data. This action cannot be undone.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication (no passwords stored), HTTP-only cookies for sessions, encrypted tokens for calendar access, and hashed invite tokens. All communication is encrypted via HTTPS.
My calendar isn't syncing. What should I do?
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your calendar in Dashboard → Settings → Calendars. Make sure you've selected the correct sub-calendars for availability checking. If the issue persists, contact us at [email protected].
